Zara Wines is a family owned boutique winery which produces unique wines from Armenian native and international grape varieties based on scientific researches of the winemaker and founder PhD Zaruhi Muradyan. Grape leaf on the label have been found imprinted on a stone in Ararat region of Armenia (Koturvan locality) by archeologists and symbolizes more than one million-year-old grape growing traditions.
This delicate wine is made from Areni indigenous grape variety rigorously selected from Vayots Dzor region which has a 6100-year-old winemaking tradition. Zara Areni has seductive aromas of flowers and intense flavors of blueberry and blackcurrant, which unfold on the palate to revealing a variety of tastes.
